Overview
PornVM supports free speech. Any content that is legal in the United States may be hosted on our network, including adult content. This policy explains the small number of things that are not allowed, and how we handle reports.
This policy applies to every service we provide, including VPS hosting and PornVM Edge. By using our services you agree to it.
Prohibited Content
The following content is never allowed, regardless of context:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or any sexualized depiction of minors, real or simulated. We have zero tolerance. Accounts are terminated immediately and we report to NCMEC and law enforcement as required by law.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, including "revenge porn", hidden-camera content, and sexually explicit deepfakes of real people made without their consent.
- Content depicting non-consensual sexual acts involving real people.
- Copyright infringement. You must have the right to distribute everything you host. See our DMCA policy.
- Any other content that is illegal under United States federal or state law, including credible threats of violence and content that facilitates human trafficking.
Prohibited Activity
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam), or hosting sites advertised through spam.
- Phishing, malware distribution, botnet command and control, or hosting exploit kits.
- Attacking, scanning or attempting unauthorized access to other networks or systems, including participating in DDoS attacks.
- Cryptocurrency mining.
- Operating marketplaces for illegal goods or services.
- Sustained resource use that degrades service for other customers. Short bursts are fine; running at full CPU around the clock is not.
Adult Content Requirements
Adult content is welcome. If you host it, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring every person depicted was at least 18 years old and consented to both the recording and its distribution.
- Keeping any records required by law, including records under 18 U.S.C. § 2257 where applicable.
- Complying with age-verification laws that apply to you and your visitors.
- Actively moderating any site that lets the public upload content, and responding promptly to complaints.
Automated CSAM screening on PornVM Edge is an extra layer of protection, not a substitute for your own moderation. You remain responsible for everything you host. See our Terms of Service.
Enforcement
When we receive a report, a person reviews it. For most issues we contact you first and give you a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. We may suspend service without notice when there is an immediate risk to our network or to others, or when the report involves CSAM or other serious illegal content.
Repeated or severe violations result in termination without refund.
DMCA & Copyright
We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Send notices to abuse@pornvm.com. A valid notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- The exact URL(s) of the allegedly infringing material.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
We forward valid notices to the customer. Customers may submit a counter-notice if they believe material was removed in error. Repeat infringers will have their service terminated.
Reporting Abuse
Email abuse@pornvm.com with as much detail as you can: URLs, IP addresses, timestamps and logs. For CSAM, send the URL only and never the material itself. You can also report directly to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org.
