Summary
We collect only what we need to provide and bill for your service, keep our network safe, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your data, and we do not look at the contents of your server.
What We Collect
- Account information: your email address, and a name or business name if you choose to provide one.
- Billing information: processed by our payment providers. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as the last four digits of a card, never the full number.
- Service data: IP addresses assigned to you, resource usage and network traffic metadata used for capacity planning and abuse prevention.
- Access logs: IP addresses and timestamps of logins to your account, kept for security.
- Correspondence: emails and support requests you send us.
Your Content
We do not access, inspect or monitor the data stored on your server. We may access a service only to investigate a specific abuse report, resolve a technical issue you've asked for help with, or comply with valid legal process.
PornVM Edge Screening
If you use PornVM Edge, media uploaded or served through it is automatically compared against databases of known child sexual abuse material using hash matching. This process does not involve people viewing your content. Matches are blocked and, as required by law, reported to NCMEC. Screening only detects previously identified material and does not guarantee that all such content will be caught.
When We Share Information
- With service providers who help us operate, such as payment processors and infrastructure partners, only as needed to provide your service.
- When required by valid legal process, such as a subpoena or court order. Where the law allows, we will notify you before disclosing your information.
- With NCMEC and law enforcement when we become aware of apparent child sexual exploitation, as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.
We never sell or rent your personal information.
Retention
We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as long afterward as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Server data is permanently deleted when a service is terminated.
Your Choices
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@pornvm.com. Some records may be retained where the law requires it.
